The Next Dimension company was formed in 2021 during the Greater Sydney lockdown, but its skillset has been more than two decades in the making.
Founder Brendan Lucas started his learning curve growing up on the NSW South Coast gaining an understanding of SMEs and NFPs from his Dad, a small business oyster farm operator, and his mother, a long-term employee of the local NFP golf club. Early on it was quite clear that, in any job, learning to count to a dozen was useful and while working in different jobs he became more aware of the value of bookkeeping and accounting skills.
Brendan worked for PwC for nine years. Starting as a trainee, he worked his way up to Manager. He then honed his business ownership and management skills, spending five years co-managing an accounting business partnership in Sydney.
Brendan’s vision for Next Dimension Accounting is to combine his experience of the big-end-of-town approach to business with the latest technology. Next Dimension will partner with organisations to assist them in achieving their goals.
Next Dimension focuses on two sectors that made their mark on Brendan – SMEs and NFPs. Both these groups make a significant contribution to society. However, in today’s challenging marketplace it is harder to be resilient and successful. Both groups need access to pertinent real-time business information and targeted advice. Our job is to address accounting issues that seem complex and overwhelming and make them easy to understand and resolve.
Brendan’s genuine long-term interest in SMEs and NFPs is embodied in Next Dimension’s service – offering advice that makes a difference to peoples’ lives, introducing technology that is cost-efficient and effective, and utilising business experience that adds value.
Next Dimension is ready to tackle the perennial accounting issues that stop many SMEs and NFPs from flourishing.
Brendan has assembled a team of dedicated and ethical professionals to provide outsourced holistic accounting solutions.
The Next Dimension team understand that human relationships are always as important as the figures when operating a business. As well as requiring good accountants, your organisation requires good people who take a real interest in your pathway.
